Job Role 
We need you to keep a close eye on our many customer accounts. Your goal is to maximise cash flow by ensuring cash is collected and bad debt minimised. That means reviewing overdue accounts daily, enforcing credit limits, and processing any payments. If debt needs to be recovered, you’ll monitor payment plans and, as a last resort, prepare files for legal action. Because you’re in the know, you’ll get queries from colleagues about the situation with different clients and will help to resolve them efficiently. Keeping everyone up to speed in the review meetings you’ll also manage the Accounts Receivable ledger.

    This role is responsible for implementation of the Group’s treasury policy and all aspects of the Group’s treasury compliance and reporting.
     
    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
     
    • Consolidate and analyse direct cashflow forecasting for the group, for both the short and long term, in each key currency (GBP, AED, SAR, USD, EUR)
    • Control supplier payment allocations to individual subsidiaries
    • Analyse FX exposure for the group including monetary assets and liabilities and forward contracts
    • Management of forward contract portfolio, hedge accounting entries and supporting analysis
    • Forecast realisation of FX gains and losses in the P+L
    • Tactical management of bank account balances to ensure compliance with overdraft limits, optimisation of bank charges, FX exposure and gain/loss realisation
    • Maintenance of exchange rates in ERP
    • Monitoring of current guarantee/bonding exposure and facility limits along with forecasting of future exposure
    • Daily monitoring and reporting of the current cash position to the Group
    • Month-end co-ordination of ERP bank reconciliations and currency revaluations across the Group
    • Providing information to the individual Opcos for accruals/prepayments in relation to bank charges and interest
    • Identifying opportunities for system improvements and co-ordinate the implementation of such improvements
    • All treasury administration, including opening new accounts, mandate updates and general compliance
    • Liaising with external stakeholders, banks and auditors
