My client is a very successful, specialist regional firm of accountants based in Torbay who are seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior to come and join their friendly team.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients (corporates, sole traders, partnerships)
Review and preparation of tax returns and VAT returns during busy periods
Provide accurate and timely advice to clients on financial matters as and when needed
Preparation of management accounts and budgeting
Liaising with HMRC and handling compliance matters
Skills and Experience:
AAT qualified & ACA/ACCA part qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2/3 years of experience in practice
Strong understanding/knowledge of UK GAAP, VAT, and tax compliance
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
