Investor Relations Manager

Quinton Davies are seeking an Investor Relations Manager for an award winning finance boutique launching a hedge fund in 2024.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to own the Investor Relations and Capital Raising strategy for this highly innovative boutique with a strong 6 year track record (equities; long and short). 
 
You will work closely with the Founder and other stakeholders to develop a strategy targeting UHNWI's and Family Offices. 
 
In order to apply for the position of Investor Relations Manager you will need:
  • A proven network of UHNWI's and Family Offices
  • Proven experience in an Investor Relations role with a Hedge Fund
  • Demonstrable experience creating marketing material and organising events
  • Demonstrable experience with a small Hedge Fund or Hedge Fund launch

AP Manager

Accounts Payable Manager 
Salary - up to £55kp/a + benefits

An exciting role leading the accounts payable function in a growing business! 
 
Responsibilties;
- Responsible for operational activities of accounts payable function
- Oversee 5 main functions in AP - Invoice matching & automation + Invoice query resolution + Payments + supplier helpdesk + expenses payments
- Drive KPI's 
- Build strong relationships with goals to help achieve goals for the AP function
 
Experience; 
- Subject matter expert in accounts payable 
- Experience of managing an offshore AP model (ESSENTIAL)

Accounts Assistant

Role: Accounts Assistant
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Overview:
Quinton Davies is working on behalf of an established independent accountancy practice who are looking for an Accounts Assistant due to significant and sustained growth.

Duties & Main Responsibilities:
• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies & partnerships
• VAT return preparation
• Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
• Handling client queries
• Other adhoc tasks
 
Experience, Attributes and Qualifications required:
• AAT part or fully qualified
• Experience of working in practice is essential
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to remain professional at all times
• Excellent attention to detail
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience of using Xero, Quickbooks online or Sage 50 would be beneficial

My client are looking for an credit controller to join their growing team! 
 
The main responsibilities of this role include -
• Daily tasks to ensure outstanding credit is being chased
• Communicating with clients to reclaim outstanding monies
• Recording all data accurately and recording debt collection notes
• Keeping all parties updates on progress - including team leaders
• Working in an effective and timely manner
• Escalating situations when required

To be the right candidate for this role would be -
• Strong communicator
• Background in customer facing role
• No previous experience in credit is required but desirable
• Strong IT skills

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Here are a few examples of what your daily tasks would include:
  • You will be required to work in an Agile working environment.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organisation ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are communicated, understood, and executed.
  • Communicate and document project status.
  • Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritise all deliverables and resources working across the project(s) based on the scope of work and project goals.
  • Actively monitor project risks, and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problem and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance.
  • Take ownership of user problems and be proactive in their solution.
  • Attend weekly departmental meetings to agree priorities, resolve problems and contribute to the strategic direction for IT.
  • Travel to different offices when required for which expenses will be reimbursed.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, APM Project management Qualification or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
  • Good skills in core Microsoft office products.
  • 5+ years commercial project management experience.
  • Have the ability to work autonomously, with authority, skilled in building relationships.
  • Need to be organised and act promptly.
  • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure and make correct decisions.
  • An analytical ability that allows you to get to grips with new challenges easily.
  • A keen interest in IT, a desire to try new things, tackle different types of problems and stay abreast of the latest technologies. 
Location: You would be required at the office in Bristol and the candidate needs to be within a commutable distance.
