    This role will see you being in a wide range of audits from voluntary to standalone and group audits and you will work across a number of business sectors.     Key responsibilities:
    • Ensure audit assignment are completed correctly and within the timescale and budget.
    • Supporting and mentoring junior members of staff.
    • Handle Client requests and queries in a professional manner.
    • Delivery of client work to the highest standard 
    • Prepare client paperwork (Accounts, tax, PAYE, VAT) within allocated deadlines to allow timely submission to HMRC
    • Plan own workload to ensure deadlines are met and work is ready for sign off
    About you:
    • 3 years+ experience in an Audit & Accounts role
    • Previously practice environment experience
    • Experience managing a portfolio of small and large business
    • Use of CCH Accounts software (desirable but not essential)

    The work will comprise both audit and accounting assignments. As a portfolio manager, the successful candidate will have full responsibility for running a portfolio of circa 50 clients, with annual fees in the region of £500,000 upwards.



    Main Duties and responsibilities:
    • Liaising with clients and managing client expectations.
    • Organising and running all accounting and audit assignments for the portfolio.
    • Supervising and reviewing staff output, primarily accounts for audit production.
    • Reporting directly to the partner and attending client meetings.
